As many of you may have seen the links on the ZSDW are unclickable.
We have also had reports of inaccessible profiles; undreadble private messages; inability to sign in and numerous other errors. Reports of viruses and malicious advertisements have also increased. We are also under attack by waves of spam-bots on a daily basis. In effect this has paralysed the staff's ability to control the ZSDW to a degree. The problem should last no longer than a week. For the duration of this problem the site is on high alert. Discussions can be taken here: http://webchat.freenode.net/ Username: whatever you wish Channel: #ZSDW Right, we're working with Wetpaint already to try to get the issue resolved. In the meantime feel free to continue contributing. Please be careful of viruses and other malicious things though. Make sure to update your anti-virus and try to get "Google Chrome" if you can http://www.google.com/chrome This minimizes the damage inflicted by the problem for the user. I apologise for the trouble this issue may have caused everyone, feel free to send any concerns to a member of staff over at the IRC or through a thread until the Private Message system is fixed. My mother once told me that her and her brothers had to learn to be bored and make their own fun because they didn't have tvs in cars and the like.
In a Zpoc when you're in your BOL you will be bored. It is inevitable. So this thread will be where we make our fun. You have paper, pens, pencils, and crayons along with sharpeners and refils. Now boys and girls make your own fun. No tech allowed.

with the near miss of hurricane earl, and the overwhelming possibility of a tropical cyclone impact this season, i believe we need to start preparing
the most important part of this preparation is EVAC ROUTES! if anyone in florida or georiga has ever had to evac because of a storm before you know exactly what in talking about, the 3-8 hour standstill in bumper to bumper traffic alternate non-highway routes need to be mapped and distributed for florida/georiga survivors and appropriate BOBs need to be secured personally i am north florida (jacksonville) and will be attempting to map out a quick path from the city using only the state routes and other such roads i dont have many resources other then google maps and my eyes for this but i know how to read a map so im going to do my best anyone else from the area(s) i highly reccomend you do the same, or you could paint an SOS on your roof and wait for FEMA i also suggest we agree on a radio channel for communication, strength in numbers and such, possible warnings about closed/choked roads and things of that nature |

Okay so we all have our gear preferences and usually the means to get them but let's change up.
You have no equipment now and in 10 weeks zombies are gonna show up in massive numbers (so sayeth The Great Carnack). Once a week you get 20 bucks to use as you please. So what equipment can you buy in those 10 weeks to max out your chances of survival?
