Welcome to our site!1

About Me: How's it goin? Name's Ghost. I fashion myself as a bit of a zombie hunter, and have been accumulating the necessary skills all my life. I love to shoot and enjoy armed and unarmed close combat training. As a kid, fighting was one of the neighborhood pastimes, so I got pretty good at it. As time went on, I developed an intrest in all aspects of combat. I'm very sarcastic and am always cracking jokes, it's a great way to keep spirits up. My buddies say I'm gung-ho and loud, but I can be dead silent and stealthy if I need to. I just love to have a good time and meet people along the way. I also have a habit of giving all my weapons girls names, which people think is weird. I've only got 18 years under my belt, but that time has taught me that life is one hell of an adventure if you just go for it! You're welcome to join me.

My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: -=Ghost=-
My location: Classified
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Not really. Flexibility is key, so no plan is really perfect. Instead, I've got guidelines that can be adapted to a variety of zombie outbreak situations.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Depending on the situation I may evac or stay at home. My home is defensible enough, but there are a number of potential fallback locations I have lined up.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? I've spent some expense retrofitting my truck with extra reinforcements and defensive measures, however making the trip on foot is always an option as long as you stay cool and try to keep stealthy.
Got anyone I want to take with me? Friends, family, and my girlfriend.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? CB radio with a custom built (by me, quite proud of it too) frequency jammer to prevent my signal being tracked with crude equipment. Walkie Talkies, also, 12 mile range (optimal, affected by weather and terrain.)
How am I planning to get food and water? I have a large stockpile of non-perishables and water at my house. I can also hunt and find wild fruits/vegtables and even have a method of extracting flour from trees. I am also experienced in a number of methods of purifying water for drinking.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? My firearm of choice is the Ruger Mini-14, for which I have 16 magazines that hold 20 rounds of .223 ammunition each. I also carry a .25 caliber Beretta Jetfire in an ankle holster with an extra 9 round magazine in reserve. In addition, I have a Mossberg 590 tactical 12 guage for close combat use. My sidearm is a Beretta M9 pistol and I have 6 extra 15 round magazines for it. My weapons of choice for picking off zeds at range are my crossbow (150 lb draw strength), and my Springfield '03 scoped rifle. My hand to hand weapons of choice are my kukri, machete, crowbar, combat knives, hatchet, and my baseball bat.
Got a survival philosophy? Keep low, keep quiet. Watch, observe, and keep your ears open. Use what you can find, and know where to find what you can use. Hit your enemies before they even know you're there. Be gone before they can regroup. Sometimes, you gotta hit 'em from the back. Sometimes, gung-ho is worth it. You gotta stay positive.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Absolutley. I will however, evaluate the situation carefully and make decisions based on the impression I get of the others in the group. Don't want to get pulled into a group of loonies.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Elements from The Zombie Survival Guide.
