About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: Since I can remember.
What started my zombie fixation: Watching movies with my dad.
Favorite zombie book: World War Z
Favorite zombie movie: Resident Evil Series
Favorite quote in any zombie movie: " Something happened they all died, the trouble was they didn't stay dead"

My Survival Plan:
When I first get word of infection(anywhere) stock up on water, dried food ammo, batteries and make a comfortable living space in my attic. If it makes it to my town, I plan to attempt to keep my home frome being comprimised by doing the normal things boarding windows, destroying staircases, etc. Wait out the initial panic in my attic listening to the radio and scanning the net for every viable piece of info. Once there is no noticeable living thing outside make a move the escape the city. I live in Alaska so with our small population, high level of gun ownership, and the fact that the mountains are no more than a 10 hour walk from where I'm at it shouldn't be a problem to make it that far. After I reach the mountains move south. Much of the rugged landscape of Alaska would be hard for a Z to traverse so once i make it far enough south to weather the winter I will find a suitable location on a small mountain top or maybe even a cave with a close by river for water and wait out the infection.
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: Sasquatch
My location: Anchorage, Alaska
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Partly anywhere, but mainly in the hometown.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Home at First, Then move out.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Bicycle, walk, run
Got anyone I want to take with me? Friends, any family thats alive and can be found.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Monitor the radio waves, and the net. People can be alot more dangerouse than Z's
How am I planning to get food and water? Stock up at first, scavange, kill and steal.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?A .22 survival rifle, a Machete. .22 is a very common round shouldn;t be a problem.
Got a survival philosophy? Ya, no matter what.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Only if they can aid me.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Mainly my own making, Ideas based off what I Read in the survival guide.

Alaska has a small population with high level of gun ownership, there are alot of mountains to hide in. Although the only habitable location year round would be southeast AK, theres alot of water clean enough to drink thats more than i can say for many places in the lower 48, plenty of wild game for food, rich earth to farm, sure if there were to be an outbreak many would flee north but i feel anyone not versed in survival, hunting etc. would die out pretty quickly, southeast Ak is also ideal because of the large number of mountains, islands and mountanious islands. There are also three military bases near anchorage and one in fairbanks that could be raided once they fall to the zeds. Alaska is my plan for all these reasons. If you have outdoor experience, marksmanship, and a survivalist mentality you can make it here no problem.
What do ya think?
Do you find this valuable?
