I - Improvise

In the United States, we have items available for all our needs. Many of these items are cheap to replace when
damaged. Our easy come, easy go, easy-to-replace culture makes it unnecessary for us to improvise.
This inexperience in improvisation can be an enemy in a survival situation. Learn to improvise.
Take a tool designed for a specific purpose and see how many other uses you can make of it.

Learn to use natural objects around you for different needs. An example is using a rock for a hammer.
No matter how complete a survival kit you have with you, it will run out or wear out after a while.
Your imagination must take over when your kit wears out.

This stuff doesnt all invovle each other but my first thing is
1. vehicles
When Thinking, Looking For, And Getting a vehicle there are some important but probably forgotten or not thought of ideas:
Ever watch Stormchaser? If not you know what they do, and that is chase tornadoes, I was thinking you’re in a zombie apocalypse or worrying about what vehicle to get and from where , find out where a PROFESSINAL storm chser keeps their little amazing Tank cars Genius! Plus don’t most of them have rele high tech gear about weather and stuff and like radios and walkie talkies-
2. Medical needs
Gauze a very useful and handy thing what about when it runs out? well we still have old pillows blankets shirts rags plenty of things to make bandages from would be a good idea to keep in a kit- better yet new idea how bout you make a first aid kit, then also a kit called a makeshift kit with a bunch of assorted itmes you might need in any generel area things you could include in it but are not limited too could be paper toels, pillowcases, rags, rubberbands glue scissors tape clothes oins sewing suppplies little bits of fabric(could be made into gloes blankets patching clothes shoes even) and other things
3. this is gunna sound stupid but a mousetrap would be a back up idea for snare wire if you run out it wont catch big things just little stuff but if youre not really depending on wild animals for food / also used as makeshift alarms
4. i dont know if anybody has already said this but i like to keep a small pencil sharpener in my survival kit because its great for making tinder when you dont want to dull your knife or cant find any suffiecent tinder or need more. small twigs the size of pencil work great in some pencil sharpers. at least the one i used one time.

First ever think about universities and colleges, i know with all the people there it will be a stupid idea but, that's a good place to raid the main building will most defintly have a library or book store and information skills knowledge you might that you find in their selection take, next classrooms for weapoons or etc supply closets then to living areas on campus or next to it just go from door to door with 2 ppl in each room raid two rooms next to each other at a time probable have food microwaves- useful- blankets clothes shoes etc also theirs cars probably everywhere (idk)
anyone else thought of some clever places to raid/stay in
