About Me: I'm en route to an AAS in emergency medical technology paramedic and nursing. I'm a seasoned EMT/firefighter and trained to handle any manner of trauma as well as a familiarity with treating illness. I carry a working knowledge of pharmacology as well as human anatomy and physiology. I'm a former soldier and expert with firearms and practical use of explosives, and basic combat/tactical engineering. I am an avid hunter and fisherman as coming from a farm in rural Alabama. My Survival Plan: I will have a radio broadcast in shortwave. I will not only survive and take in strangers, but I will rebuild. I will need law enforcement officers, doctors, nurses, teachers, mechanics, and other professional level people not afraid to work and I will recruit these people. If you are a worthless drain on society don't come. If you bring something to the table you will be repaid with protection, companionship, a warm place to rest your head, and work. I would never force my religion onto other people but one thing should be clear, if you are Muslim or Jewish, or Christian, or whatever. Your prejudice stops at the gates. Racial and religious prejudice will not be tolerated.As far as short term. I will not need a whole lot in the way of supplies to remove myself and my family from the suburban area we live in and get to a more sparsely populated area. I am an experienced rider when it comes to horses. I will likely take a light load to begin with and make a series of trips to scout, learn the terrain, and gather supplies. Always, always have an escape route and plan in place and everyone must know it.
