Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Anywhere.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Depends on the circumstances of the outbreak, but probably heading out.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? My feet don't wear down, don't need refuelling, and can get me to places that most other modes of transport can't. I can drive, I can kayak, and I have (very) basic horse riding skills, so I'm fine for transport.
Got anyone I want to take with me? Maybe my family and a few friends.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I don't plan to communicate except to rescue parties, for which I will use optical signals such as flashing a mirror, as even with a radio, getting the same wavelength would be difficult.
How am I planning to get food and water? Rivers, pools etc. for water to purify, hunting/scavenging for food.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? If nothing else, a crowbar. For my second choice, a sawn-off shotgun would do nicely alongside that. I can get my hands on the first easily, and the second with a little effort (I can reliably get a gun from a nearby location), along with various other guns, but as I live in England, gun laws are really strict, so I don't own one, and won't be able to get anything fully (or even semi) automatic, if at all.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Yes, unless I think my chances will be better if I stay on my own.

Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? No, it's using my head, some common sense, and whatver survival skills I have. Plus the hundreds of pages of useful information on this here handy website.
