About Me: When I started thinking way too much about zombies: Around the time Resident Evil 4 came out. Favorite zombie book: I can't really say; the zombie survival guide is a cool concept but it makes a lot of assumptions. I guess its hard for one not to given the fact that zombies are fictional... At least currently. Favorite zombie movie: Night of the Living Dead original or Dawn of the Dead recent. I thought Quarantine was intense too it was nice to see an isolated incident and the comparison to Rabies was interesting. Favorite quote in any zombie movie: Brains My Survival Plan: My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: My location: Alternate Food Source - should do. Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Pretty much any suburban area with a Rona, Canadian Tire, preferbably a Lee Valley Gardening Center but it could be modified to urban areas. Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Lee Valley Gardening Warehouse or Rona. Both contain weapons that are rather long ranged and plants for food. If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Bike, Car, Van really I'd decide with whats available. Bike is quiet, fits in small spaces and doesn't require gas. Car is safe but large and loud a van even more so. Got anyone I want to take with me? I know of some like minded people who would be useful in a situation such as this. I also have a bunch of people I care about so we would have to see. How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Hermit How am I planning to get food and water? I would fill large laundry baskets with water when I got to my safehouse and continue to until the water was found to be unsuitable or contaminated. I suppose I'd need to label them by day just in case. What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Gun preferably or even airsoft weapons but I have neither so probably smashing and stabbing weapons. Baseball bat, Knives .. its risky but it is much better than bare knuckles. Got a survival philosophy? Dont set anything on fire. Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Way too risky. Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? I've seen a bunch of movies. I'm pretty much relying on a non airborne virus. That is if it is a virus. All of this would be modified given the circumstance. I'd find a temporary hide out collect my thoughts on what I experienced during and come to conclusions with as little assumption as possible. My score and score summary on the non-lame zombie survival test:
