What started my zombie fixation: Watching a tv show about special effects showing a ripped in half man being eaten by zombies.

My location: Out in the eastern part of NC.
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Generally the plan is for class 3-4, for a class 1 or 2. Hopefully home shall be enough.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Staying home as the starting base, before ensuring we're ready to head out.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Depending on road conditions, anyway from foot to armored car.
Got anyone I want to take with me? Namely my friends and parents. Between all of us plenty of knowledge to help handle this situation.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? CB or marine radio, and atleast one laptop.
How am I planning to get food and water? Rain should help with the water, while gardens and possibly some animals make up food.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? my personal AK-47, reloading is required. Already have a nice stockpile of ammo.
Got a survival philosophy? If infected, God have mercy. I've got a .45.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Indeed, part of my plan requires atleast a few of my friends.
