Anthony Plescia Rank: Leader of the Lincoln, CA. colony. Squad 1 (Wolf squadron): Reconnaissance leader, Strategy, & Battle. About Me: Name: Anthony Codename(s): Badwolf/Bane/Zephyr Age: 17 Sex: Male Occupation: Student, Z-day strategist. Education: High school Senior. My Survival Philosophy: "There is not one foolproof way to survive. It all depends on your personal situation and the way you choose to act in said situation." Weapons of Choice: Close Quarters w/infected: Celtic Shortstword or Pistol. Close Quarters w/human: Katana or Pistol. Mid Range w/infected: 9mm pistol or crossbow (Depending on amount of infected) Mid Range w/human: (See above) Long Range w/infected: Never engage anything at long range unless it is absolutely necessary. Long Range w/human: Scoped 357 bolt action rifle, compund bow, or crossbow. Personal Protection: Face: Gas mask or paintball mask (Inside the painball mask I'll have to wear some kind of mouth cover, to prevent splatter infection through it's air holes.) Eye wear: Either of the masks mentioned above along with Contact lenses (When contacts expire I'll be wearing prescription glasses. You can get REALLY durable glasses for sports, and they're protected by your anti-splatter gear.) In case of Raider or other un-infected attack: Ballistics helmet, ballistics goggles.
Zombie killing music: Uprising ~ by Muse Frontline ~ by Pillar Heasdstrong ~ by Trapt Help I'm Alive ~ by Metric When I started thinking way too much about zombies: When I first watched the unholy trilogy. AKA The George A. Romero films Night, Dawn, and Day of the (living) Dead What started my zombie fixation: I just started thinking (after watching 28 days & weeks) that I should be prepared for this scenario. After all, it's highly likely something like this could happen as a result of Bio-Terrorism. Think about it. A type of disease that turns you into something that just wants to bite, eat, & kill, turning you against your friends, family, commanding officers, etc. The ultimate weapon. Type of zombies I believe in: 28 days later "Rage" zombies. They're undeniably the most likely to occur. However, if we prepare for the type of Zombies in Brian Keene's "The Rising" We're prepared for anything. PREPARE FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF ZOMBIE ANIMALS!!!! Birds, cats, dogs, horses, fish!!! Everything! Favorite zombie book: The Rising, City of the Dead, Dead Sea, all by Brian Keene (Quite graphic, but amazing reads). Favorite zombie movie: 28 days later. Favorite quote in any zombie movie: "Good? Bad?.... I'm the guy with the gun." ~Ash, Army of Darkness~ My Plan can be found Here. Details, Details, details: My “handle” should you look for me on the radio waves: "Zephyr" or "Badwolf" (Hopefully Dr. Who fans will appreciate the reference). My location: Lincoln, CA. But I'll be nowhere near there when the infection occurrs. If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? I have a Dodge Ram 2500, a Ford Focus, and a 2009 Yamaha FZ1 motorcycle for scouting and getting through tight areas, also outrunning raider vehicles with relative ease. My Dad will ride with mom in the Truck, I'll be on the motorcycle leading the convoy. Vehicles will have armed passengers, and depending on how late in the invasion we leave, may be armored with sheet metal, fencing, etc. Got anyone I want to take with me? About 25-40 people, consisting of my family, close friends, and their immediate families, (all my friends are zombie savvy thanks to me.) This amount ensures the whole "safety in numbers" thing while simultaneously being manageable. While it is a large group, it is also that many more guns, thus taking down a large group of infected will be relatively easy. A little note that will help you with population control in starting out, since you can't take EVERYONE. Tell only your CLOSE friends and their immediate families to come with your main convoy, then tell them and your "others" where you're going, so you won't be overcrowded and once you're at your fort people you know will eventually make it there in groups or on their own. How will I communicate with the outside world? I plan on bringing multiple sets of long-range walkie talkies, a few CB radios, everyone's cell phones, & a pair of satellite phones. All will be charged with solar chargers. We could possibly find a radio tower and set up a broadcasting station within base. I'm planning on installing solar panels and batteries in the base, so we can simply route that power into the main circuit breakers for electricity. How am I planning to get food and water? Water can be taken from a well on our base's property, rain, snow, freshwater springs, rivers or from our stock of water bottles. Food can be cooked from our supplies, gathered by searching for it in homes/businesses, hunting, fishing, raising and breeding livestock, and planting crops. What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? My Weapon of choice is the Remington 870. Now, a remington 870 is a pump-action 12 gauge shotgun. Plenty of stopping power with an eight round tubular magazine. This weapon needs to be reloaded every eight shots, but that's SOOOO much better than a double barrel shotgun. Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Yes, but only if they are mentally healthy (Not psycho) and allow my groups MED (of the same sex) to check them EVERYWHERE for bites or signs of infection. Then they will be quarantined for 3 days to make sure they remain uninfected. My weapons: Walther P22: Although only a .22 caliber, it is still strong enough to enter a skull and kill a zombie from a decent range. 22 ammo is also the most readily available in the US, so you'd basically never run out. Having two of these guns means twice the ammo, and twice the dead zombies. Not to mention you don't need to worry about somehow holding bulky weapons like shotguns when you've got these holstered easily on your belt or side. B.O.B. My BOB contains the following items: 1 50 Foot coil of climbing rope 1 bag full of my contact lens supplies such as solution, cases, spare sets, & my glasses which are purposed for really rough sports, so they. 2 Small LED flashlights (they run on 3 triple A but they are amazingly powerful for their size) 1 Medium size first aid kit (Including a Field surgery kit) 1 Flare gun with 8 flares. 1 Mess kit 3 Changes of clothes, including cold weather gear. 1 small polyester Blanket 1 Copy of the Zombie Survival Guide 1 Game boy Pocket with the game Super Mario Land 1 Beanie hat (you lose 80% of your body heat off the top of your head, ya know!) 1 Picture of me and my parents, also one of my cousin and my other relatives. Just in case.... Supplies & Etc. in Vehicles: Three week supply of food & water for my IMMEDIATE group. (Me, mom, and dad)All of my printed zombie plans and info. 1 Twenty gauge, single barrel, Winchester shotgun with 25 rounds of Ammo. 1 Hand crossbow with 20 bolts. 5 Five gallon gas containers (Full) 1 hand-operated liquid pump (for gasonline siphoning) 5 Solar panels w/adapters 2 Fishing Poles with tackle box full of fishing goodies Assorted lighting: Floodlights, flashlights, glow-sticks, etc 1 Gas powered electric generator (used later on in base) 1 container lighter fluid Quad in the back of the truck Pets: (We might have enough room...I just don't know if I could not take them...) 2 Horses: (Link: A Saddle bred Arabian & Sunny: A Belgian Half-linger) put in the horse trailer. 3 Golden retrievers & a miniature schnauzer: Skip, Jenna, Bodie & Casper. My Cat, Dusty. 2 Blue & Gold Macaws, Choco & Bobo (The only thing is sometimes they yell REALLY LOUD for long periods of time. That's not good for keeping our position secret.) My Ferret: Zephyr Vehicles: 2005 Dodge Ram 2500: The truck is the closest thing we have to an armored vehicle. My mother will drive this, which will contain all our supplies, some of our gear, all our animals in the camper shell on the back, and our horses in the trailer. It will be equipped with a CB radio, and armored with metal sheeting/bars welded over the windows, etc. 2004 Ford Focus: Second mode of transportation to be driven by my dad. It's small, but if the speedometer is telling the truth I can outspeed any type of zombie....unless they're intelligent enough to drive....... 2009 Yamaha FZ1: My yamaha is an amazingly fast, amazingly powerful machine, not to mention F***ing bad-ass looking. This is the vehicle I will be using, leading the convoy. I can use it to quickly get out of areas through the smallest of openings, and even outspeed raiders in their vehicles. Many roads and highways will have abandoned cars on them and it's impossible to get through that with another car, that's why you always need to have dirtbikes and motorcycles on hand. Motorcycles also give the advantage of stealth depending on the noise put out of your brand. I kinda imagine fighting raiders off of it like a knight on a horse. If they were using melee weapons that is. On the zombie survival quiz on Newgrounds I got an: A on Physical A on Mental Z on Experience F on emotional (Actually good, means I don't hesitate to kill a friend who's been infected) Overall I got a Z+ (The best score U can get on it) According to this site I have a 97% chance of surviving the zombie apocalypse http://www.oneplusyou.com/bb/zombie The BEST zombie comic ever: http://www.thezombiehunters.com/index.php?strip_id=1
