My location: Central PA
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?Yes. While I will evacuate the area if the infestation gets too large, I feel that it may be possible to prevent an apocalypse if the infestation is brought to heel before it can grow too large.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? heading out, it's not safe to stay in one place unless it's entirely self sufficient, and my residence is definitely not.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?Bike. or walk. I live in the York City Area not far from two large highways, there's no way i can move by car once the panic hits, the best choice is to hike or bike the trails that weave through the valley.
Got anyone I want to take with me? I have a select group of people who are very educated on camping, hunting and general organic living. I've been working with them to develop some martial skills.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? face to face or with morse code and mirror. I may pick up a radio in the future but right now I'm going with what I have.
How am I planning to get food and water? I've been learning survival techniques ever since boy scouts, finding water and fabricating a filter isn't out of my league, but as for food I confess other than canned and wild fruits and grains in the area i'm a little stumped.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? If it can kill a Zed then that's good enough for me right now. I can't get firearms due to my living situation, but I will be in possession of a longsword by the summer.

Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? My plan is VERY loosely based on the ZSG and ZCM. But mainly it relies on the "South African plan" So famous in WWZ - get to a fortifiable location, build up, stock up then advance. I may not be able to wipe out every zombie in existence - to believe so is sheer folly - but i do plan on clearing out an area of farmland and such so that my fortification can be expanded upon and establish a kind out castle-fortified town similar to those in medieval Europe.
