Airborne Zombie Infection

If a completely unstopable zombie apocalypse were to happen, it would have to be really easy to spread. Either several people would have to be infected together at the start to bite and scratch enough people for it to spread before the military intervene, or it will have to spread quickly some other way.
I few places I've been reading up have mentioned the possibility that the zombie virus/parasite would have to be an airborne virus that can be spread easily. A few people have compared it to H1N1, as the article above.
If it really is caused by a mutation of the toxoplasma gondii, is there any possibility that it could become airborne and how would you deal with it if it were?
I'd probably wear gas masks of some sort for the time being, but what about a perminant solution? Some sort of air tight chamber for perminant residence that disinfects when you walk in?
I'd think it would make things a lot more complicated but it's better to prepare for the worse.

They would also have to be more durable with maybe a complete plexiglass fishbowl helmet. The SCUBA tanks are very heavy so it would have to be a modernized version that is compact and light with hoses connecting it to the helmet that are very durable as well. There would have to be a sterile 'safe house' of sorts that is as zombie proof as it could be. Like I said, you'd really have to know what you're doing. You'd have to have specific procedures for sterilization and a chamber to enter for cleansing before entry to the facility is granted. It would have to be a very complicated, planned process. Thinking about it now, even filters with tiny pores can't filter out a virus because they are much much smaller..."

Mhmm, but for a "safe house" that is sterilized you have to be very confident in your defensive measures. Because one hole jacks up your entire operation. And there's no telling how much that would cost anyway...
I'm not sure if such pores exist, but if there were some that could filter out viruses, the air could get through, because viruses are small, but not O2 molecule small. Then thinking about the filters, you wouldn't just be filtering the virus, but every other cruddy thing out in a apocalyptic environment.

There's just so much of this that I have no idea about and, to be honest, don't really think that I could prepare for it even if I did know.

You know, with sterilization in mind...a nice biological research facility on a college campus, or elsewhere, peaks my interest. Many of them already have their vacuum sealed rooms in place.

Zombie Virus: Blood Circulation?

Ok, so say the infection were to be caused by a virus...

Definition
Virus is a Latin word, meaning toxin or poison. A virus is a small infectious agent that can replicate only inside the cells of other organisms.
Logic
This being said, a virus can only reproduce inside the cells of other living organisms. This would have to mean that the cells in the bodies of the Zombies, are still alive, meaning that the Zombies are alive, not dead!
In order for the blood cells to remain alive, blood would have to be circulated through the body, as in a living human being. However, Zombies are typically depicted as thoughtless, dumb, slow, corpses with huge gashes and chunks of flesh missing. So how can they still move and function, even if it is only by instinct?
