How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? My dads hand held radio.
How am I planning to get food and water? Can's and dried food unless I have to hunt, then I'm using a bow & arrow to save bullets.
What’s my weapon of choice? Sniper rifle or shot gun! Do you need to reload that thing? Duh! Gotta plan for that? lol have as many pre-loaded wepons as possible.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? meh. Probbably not.
