Just to put it out there, I really don't think the zombies are coming. I DO think we here in the U.S. may end up seeing a semi-permanent social unrest situation. That and who knows what else. I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist; not that I see them everywhere I look, but I do think there are some behind the scenes workings afoot. Nothing to break out the tin foil hat over currently. haha

I stock up on things, I plan routes, I stash things in "odd" places. I don't plan every aspect of my life around "what if", but I DO plan a good bit more than most.

When I started thinking way too much about zombies:
About 8 years ago

What started my zombie fixation:I was newly single, my brother, a few buddies and I were drinking, and ended up watching a zombie movie marathon. It turned into a night long discussion about what we would do if it really went down. Days later we were sober and having the same discussion. To this day it come up whenever we see eachother.

Favorite zombie movie:
Dawn of the Dead. Both new AND old. I'm sure that's a pretty standard answer that will draw ridicule, but I stand by it none the less...

Favorite quote in any zombie movie:
"F%^&in' hell! He bounced! Did you see that? I ain't never seen anything like that before in my life! F%^&in' hell"

Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?
The plan works no matter where I am, it will just need a little research and some minor tweaking, depending on how and where it starts.

Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?
Definitely heading elsewhere. Short of me hitting the lottery between now and then.

If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?
My truck if possible. If it's not, then I guess we're walking it.


Got anyone I want to take with me?
Got 4 unless it's a holiday, then there may be more.

How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?
If all goes well then I have plans for communication once I get where I want to get to. Before then I will most likely avoid living and dead alike.

How am I planning to get food and water?
I have it mapped out, as long as I can stay to the route I want to. If not, I'm very resourceful, and will be bringing a bit with me.

What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?
My weapon(s) of choice will need reloading, and with the amount of ammo I have, I would hope to use them mainly. But if they DO run out, the back-ups need no ammo, and I will learn to love them also...hahaha

Until you have a better plan, just do what's asked of you.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?
It depends on the situation. People were scheming, underhanded, and ignorant before anything happens, I would imagine I can expect the same afterward.

Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of?Not that I have seen or read, but if it is, then I'm sure it was a good one...lo
