My location: Whiston, Merseyside, England
My Gear: Firefighter suit, boots, gloves, hat, socks, ear plugs, axe, etc. I also have an unbreakable baseball bat which i got from cold steel. As soon as i got it i was smacking it on the floor and walls and it hasn't even got a chip in it. I will have no exposed skin at all.
My Plan: There is a hospital round the corner from me so i will have little warning. There is a fire station on the way to that hospital though so 1st i run to the fire station and get gear (protective clothes, fire axe, maybe a hose or something). Then i return home and take all the canned goods, camping foods and 96 cans of spam (Dad buys in bulk) upstairs. Fill the bath with water and destroy or block the stair case (its some of the only sound advice from the zombie survival guide). I will then barricade all the downstairs windows and secure the doors. I wait for 2-3 weeks monitoring the radio and T.V (if there's power). If all calmed down and all the idiots have died i then, along with any mates who have made it to my house, will start walking on the 8.5 mile walk to a class B prison near my house. We will try to monitor it for a day or two from houses nearby to see if all clear, if all clear we enter and stay there. If the are signs that Zombies are in or prisoners have control or anything else bad. If it looks too overrun for us to assault it and win then we will proceed west through Liverpool until we come to the docks were we will search for a boat or sea faring vessel of some type. I know plan B isn't that good as we have to go through a city and hope there are some boats remaining but that's because its my mates idea and he hasn't told me all the details yet.
