About me. The name is Braydon! I am 17 years of age and I live in Queensland, Australia! When I started thinking way too much about zombies: In 2004 when Dawn of the dead came out! Favorite zombie book: Zombie survival guide. (note this is the only zombie fiction I have read. Favorite quotes in any zombie movie: Come on! Anybody hungry! Tallahassee's nice this time of year! - Tallahassee - Zombieland. My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: Braydon, Five. My location: I live in a city in south-eastern Queensland, Australia. ______________________________________________________________ MEDALS ____________________________________________________________ My Survival plan The Plan: Well depending on where I am when SHTF, if I am at work or somewhere like that, I will try and get home as soon as I hear word of SHTF. (I presume that SHTF won't just happen without some sort of warning, so I will more than likely be staying home if stuff was starting to happen of that nature.) Once I get home, there are 2 variables depending on the severity of the disaster. 1. Disaster has massively affected my location and it's not safe to go outside until things settle down a little. In case of this my family and I would board over the doors and windows with the excess timber we have stored under the house. Or we would obstruct the doorways with furniture and try and wedge it between the door frame, hopefully making it very difficult to enter the house. We would then go about living for a week or two, until the initial shock of the disaster is over. Eating the perishables first, then our longer life food, then our non-perishables. I doubt we would go through all the food in our house in only 2 weeks however, so we could take some with us when we decide to head for the BOL. Hopefully we wouldn't have any confrontations in these few weeks in the beggining of the disaster. IF however we do run into somecontroversy, or our position is breached we can make the way out of the side door of our house and then out the side garden gate, which I will probably reinforce or obstruct after SHTF. Right outside our side garden gate is where our cars are, so we can make a quick getaway from the side. I am the only one in my family with a bug out bag, I will probably go about making bug out bags for some of the family members. If our position is breached our BOBs will be next to the side door so we can quickly grab them and make a break for it. 2. If the disaster is in another area of the country or has been spreading rapidly in a different country, we we will skip all the steps above about securing the house and just grab our BOBs and head to our BOL. We will take 2 cars to our BOL, as we have 5 people living in the house and just in case we need to take any other family members who decide to come to our house post SHTF. There are about 6 different quiet roads that lead close to our BOL, so we will chose one and hopefully it won't be blocked off, but if one is we will just go on another one. If however all of the roads are blocked off, we will stop and hopefully clear the wreckage out with the tow ropes I have in my car. It won't take too long to get to our BOL, maybe 30 minutes. My BOL is my girlfriends house, she lives in a nice house on a hill with a large fence around the bottom of the land, the area she lives in isn't very dense in population so it's a lot safer than the area I live in. She also lives close to bushland so hunting and trapping would be possible. ________________________________________________________________________ My whole plan could change shortly as I might be moving in with my girlfriend and her family into their new country home. It's pretty much a survivalists dream home, lot's of land, a fresh water dam, water tanks, running fresh water stream, lot's of bushland surrounding theperimeter for hunting/trapping and pretty much all the good stuff! ________________________________________________________________________ Homemade Stuff Flip bow Prototype MK.1(very ugly) Flip Bow Prototype MK.2 Flip Bow Prototype MK.3 (Flip X-Bow) My BOB (These pictures are outdated, I will take new ones soon.)
