When I started thinking way too much about Zombies: Never Really What started my zombie fixation: Various Zombie Movies, planning with friends Favorite Zombie book: World War Z Favorite Zombie movie: Dawn of the Dead Favorite quote in any zombie movie: "There's only one thing worse than death-and that's waiting to die." -Dawn of the Dead A brief summary of My Plan: My plan of action on Z-day is as follows. When I first hear of the outbreak, I begin taking inventory of the many things I'll need to survive a siege on my home (non-perishables, weapons, water) as well as soundproofing my home. I plan on waiting out the initial blitz of zombies and frantic civilians until such activity has subsided or I have a decent picture of what is going on in my immediate area and surrounding areas. I have radios in order to keep in touch with my will-be party. My B.O.B., including weapons, (crobar, machete) food, water, rope, tolietries, bed roll, etc. will be prepared ahead of time. My transportation will be my bicycle as well as the others in my group. Once the outbreak as escalated to a Class 2-3, my party and will bug out to a rural location(friend's uncle's, 44 acre property and an abundance of guns and ammo.), while making occasional stops and supply points, retail stores, and outposts,(picking up a 12 ga or hunting rifle if availible) assuming they are safe. If conditions permit, I plan on living off the land and producing my own food. Laying low at this point for the rest of the disaster will be a challenge, but it will be an inevitable challenge. Weapons: No guns, but anything you can build with like hammers, crobars, knives etc. Not the best but better than going in with just fists.
