My location: Paris, Ontario
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? My plan is not dependant on zombies, as i will be trying to avoid them whenever possible. However, avoiding the zombies will shape how my plan unfolds.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Stay at home for a few weeks, and then rally local survivors and their weapons and supplies, and set up a base of operations in the local high school. The school has several shops, including woodworking and automotive repair.
I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? I plan to use one the many sport utility vehicles in my neighbor hood if necessary, but I will likely only have to walk, as the school is only a few miles from my house
Got anyone I want to take with me? Two of my buddies, as well as my girlfriend
How will I communicate with the outside world? I plan to set up a CB radio, broadcasting a constant signal to any survivor to pick up on. This will broadcast on channel 1 on the CB, where communications to base would be handled on channel 2.
How am I planning to get food and water? A river, less than a half mile from the local high school, and a little over two miles from my house, will be the primary source of water. For food, in the first weeks, we will live on the perishable food, so as it does not go to waste. In the following months, horded canned food will be the staple, as fields are set up and barricaded in the school grounds. In later years, we would live on grown food and any animals(cows, pigs, chickens) we can capture and breed.
What are my weapons of choice? A customized Ruger 10/22, that I have built over a couple years, in .22 LR. To be found after the outbreak, an S&W 686 revolver, in .357 Magnum, and a good double barrel shotgun, 12ga.
Got a survival philosophy? Don't do anything stupid, you'll just make one more zombie for your friends to kill.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Of course, my plan relies on working together with the other survivors in my area
