What started my zombie fixation: Realizing while taking numerous AP registered biology classes how easy it would be to have a massive outbreak just like the Zombie Apocolypse and how a disease could easily be formed into an infection like the Zombie based theory.

My location: Idaho, USA
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Anywhere but it focuses on getting out of y small town, for a prospering island only my boyfriend knows about.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Headed somewhere else always. If lucky I can get a plane and fly it with my dad if need be. He flies all over the world and knows the world like a map.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? By Vehicle, Submarine, Plane, Ship.
Got anyone I want to take with me? My boyfriend ( Navy), My father (Who's can fly all sorts of planes and things) and his family, and a couple of close friends who believe in the theory too.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I'll leave that up to my boyfriend since he works for the military as a comunications tech. specialist. But if he dies then probably a radio or if all else fails the hermit route.
How am I planning to get food and water? Be raiding homes during the day, or hunting if the animals aren't infected, feeding off of nature. Or the classic trade if need be.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Whatever I can get my hands on, a firearm would be nice.
Got a survival philosophy? Live like there is no tomorrow, when all hope fails I'll be the one to keep me going.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Depends if they are safe or not. I am worried about the whole women dieing off and men trapping woman etc part. But preferebly a person or two not a group unless everyone has a skill and isn't just dead weight.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? In a way various ways, but for the most part it's from my own mind.
