Since I live in a suburb not very far from some thick forest I'm gonna need a
whole mix of stuff.

Lenstatic Compass and Map , I believe the map is 1 to 25,000 either way its really detailed.

Camelbak and canteens. I have a 110 oz camelbak and I believe the canteens hold a quart a pop.

Tac Vest , it has 8 M-16 Double Mag pouchs , a pistol holster , a velcro pouch for a camelbak , a compass or handheld radio pouch and a map pouch.

8 30rd mags for my AR-15 with RBCD and an additional 600 rds

6 30rd mags for the ACK AK-47 with whatever ammo I can find

60 shells or so for my Rem 870 all RBCD

I've got about a weeks worth of MRE that I can fieldstrip , I can augment this with
Canned Foods.

I have plenty of water purifying pills but I'd much rather have that little handpump thing.

About three sets of extra clothes but about 10 pairs of socks.

Handheld radio that is earpiece adaptable and preferably has a crank or battery energy supply.

LED Flashlight with plenty of Batteries.

I have a Corpsmans pack with all the bandages of varying sizes that I'll ever need so I'll take what I need.

I have a Universal weapons cleaning kit that I am definetly bringing.
A Knife Sharpener or sharpening tool.

50 feet of good rope climbing rope and another 50ft of nylon rope.
A pup tent

My Plan:
It all depends on how the outbreak occurs here , if we heard about it from further away or the outbreak was light here then I'd pack up everything and find a good place to fort up,
If the outbreak happened overnight then I'd grab up a few friends 3-8 and head for the hills literally.

I actually managed to pack all this shit and I think I'm gonna dump the AK-47 entirely and that'll save me a good amount of weight.
