About Me: When I started thinking way too much about zombies: Never, this is a serious threat, and it needs to stay in your head at all times. Not enough to damage your tasks in this world, but enough so that you're always ready. What started my zombie fixation: After see the original Night of the Living Dead, I pondered how this could possibly happen. After reading an article on the advancement of rabies, I found that it is a 100% plausible cause of Z-Day. Favorite zombie books: My favorite books are: The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, all by Max Brooks, The SAS Survival Guide by John "Lofty" Wisemen, and When All Hell Breaks Loose: Stuff You Need To Survive When Disaster Strikes by Cody Lundid. Favorite zombie movie: Dawn of the Dead Favorite quote in any zombie movie: "Two in the chest, one in the balls - that's what I say." - TSA Agent, Flight of the Living Dead : Outbreak on a Plane (2007) My Survival Plan: My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: EricCogs, EMCogs, or 2_D3AD4_U My location: USA... thats all I'm gonna say. Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? My plan is dependent on any form of outbreak at all. Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Home, were I live it's not to crowded, but I still have plenty of neighbors to "borrow" supplies from. Got anyone I want to take with me? Yah, got a couple of buddies with a unique set of skills, and we have all agreed that in a time of crisis we will join up. How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I have my computers, so I'm good till they stop working... then I have a two-way radio, and a crank radio. How am I planning to get food and water? I have a small stock pile... lucky for me I live less then a block from a supermarket. What’s my loadout? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? I have some clothes that a pretty hard to bit through, some boots, a crowbar, a trench spike, a .22 handgun, and one of my friends will lend me a M1 Garand Rifle (though I'm not really counting on it) Got a survival philosophy? Don't live by trust no one, just don't rely on anyone, and always have a back up plan. Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? I am, though I probably won't rely on them... ever. Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? A combination of strategies from The SAS Survival Guide and The Zombie Survival Guide.
