Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? : Stay home 'till people are down panicking then start raiding for materials

How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? People can be stupid, but generally I like them so I'd keep communication up.
How am I planning to get food and water? I have quite a bit stockpiled and the fact it's constantly raining here coupled with our large garden would keep both of those maintained.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? My handy dandy crowbar, and maybe a homemade napalm/match combo, and only the napalm needs reloading but its easy enough to make.
