I'm very much a classicist when it comes to zombie films, so naturally I feel that nothing rates higher than George Romero's exceptional Night of the Living Dead.

After that, I have to tip my hat to the original Dawn of the Dead and Fulci's Zombi 2.

And special honors of course to the great Evil Dead films.
