Depending on the level of outbreak, and location I become aware of it at. If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Got anyone I want to take with me? Currently, just the immediate family/ friends I can get to believe me. How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Hermit route for first six months, CB w/ chatter searcher How am I planning to get food and water? Stocked supplies, and skills borne of living on a working ranch/farm all my life. What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? THEORETICALLY, yes. As long as they are people who are like minded enough to be able to function with effectively, and who can carry their own weight, or be taught quickly to carry their own weight. Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Not that I'm aware, but it's based on common sense, so possibly.
