My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: Radio
My location: McEwen, Tennessee
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Well since im in a small town and no where near a coast ill most likely head to small island my father used to take me hunting on in Mississippi it is a private island owned by some rich people it has enough food and supplies to keep a small militia fed and cared for. its a good place to hold up since the island is surrounded by a swamp and the main building is built on stilts in case of flooding, it has 3 large generators the last i remember and they're built on a hill to protect from flooding, it has a place for automotive care, and a large barge that can hold 3 large vehicles. my plan is to take the barge down the river and from there i count on hope and luck to find a military base or something.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Vehicle, foot, and boat.
Got anyone I want to take with me? Few family members of mine have specific skills that could really help with the journey i have 2 uncles in the military and 2 grandfathers of mine that are retired from the military and still retain a lot of skills. my father has many skills like making homemade items. and i would have a few other people that would have to come with us like children so expect we will have a convoy. but i sadly dont expect much of my family to survive...
I also have a few people outside of the family like friends that have helped me come up with a plan.
So roughly i expect about 8 people in all to make it give or take.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? A rechargeable radio that came with the disaster bag i bought.
How am I planning to get food and water? I have some canned food some instant noodles on hand now but i plan to have some MREs pretty soon. but if i dont get them in time ill hit a few army surplus stores.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? i have a ruger 9mm pistol that will be my first thing to grab along with a 12 gauge shotgun and a bolt action rifle.
Got a survival philosophy? The 7 Ps of the British army adage: Prior Planning and Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? After a Thorough search i would trust them to tag along but i will keep an eye on them and see if they prove themselves in the field.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Well i came up with this plan with my friends in highschool before i even heard of the zombie survival guide so there really isnt one.

When I started thinking way too much about Zombies:

What started my zombie fixation: Me and my friend danny were watching a 28 days later and we watched the special features and realized how this could happen and we need to be prepared for when it does.

Favorite Zombie book:
Zombie survival guide by mel brooks
and this isnt a zombie book but its the U.S. Army Survival manual it teaches basic mental and physical health and how to survive in every part of the globe.

Favorite Zombie movie:
28 days
28 weeks
dawn of the dead
land of the dead
night of the living dead(original)
day of the dead
resident evil movies (except extinction that one sucked)

Favorite quote in any zombie movie: "these people are now infected, we now know what were dealing with here lets get tactical" and "THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK"
