hat

dued I think the hat is buffalo not kangaroo... I think I have the same one for my badass kit (http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/account/steveo_justice) and im pretty sure its buffalo if thats a barmah fedora.

And you're taking WAY to much crap... if a zombie is far enough away that you need a dedicated sniper rifle for it instead of just your AK, you should just walk around it anyway and save the noise and weight. And no Machine guns are useless unless you'r waging war on other survivors (or if they're doing so to you).

Hey, I was just too lazy to respond to that thread. Anyways, maybe the hat is buffalo, I got it off of Google Images, but I'm getting a real hat soon made of Australian steer hide. And I've completely changed my profile.

Also, most of the stuff on that page was completely hypothetical crap that i had no way in hell of getting hold of. Also, I happen to like bolt-action rifles. It's for using against hard and soft targets very far away that could prove hostile. I would probably only use the Sako when defending a fort or during a massive, organized counter-offensive. Machine guns, if you have people to work them and enough ammunition, can be used against giant hordes to reduce their mobile numbers, then just pick off the rest with rifles, and burn all the remains. they are also incredibly effective against the living, if necessary.

Also, no offense, your sword made of 440 knife steel isn't worth shit. Sorry, I own one, and I know it couldn't decapitate someone. It wouldn't even be effective as bludgeon because it would fracture. Believe me, I've written a paper on it and been fascinated for by the samurai for as long as I can remember. Real samurai swords are made of high-quality black sand steel, and the forging process can take weeks. It involves the folding and heating of two separate parts of steel, a harder outer part for cutting and a soft inner part to absorb impact. That's what makes the genuine ones such incredible weapons. If the blade is too hard and completely inflexible, it will break within seconds of being employed in actual combat. If it's too soft, it will just bend and be completely useless. YOu should try and find the "mythbusters" video about cutting a sword with another sword. Hopefully, I didn't say anything offensive, I really tried not too. Thanks.

I don't need the paragraph-long lecture on proper katana manufacture, dude -- I know just as much about it as you do, and I saw the Mythbusters episode on them. 440 steel is perfecly adequate for a *short blade* being used as *secondary weapon* against *rotting, unarmored foes.* 440 is a standard cutlery grade, and besides, the grade of steel has nothing to do with how shar[pit can get, only how sharp it stays. Grade 200 steel will cut off a head, it just won't cut off very many. 440 is just fine (and about the grade used in Medieval Europe, once they figured out how steel worked).

Also, your grenade launcher idea should be booted. Even if you can get your hands on one, its way to heavy and not any use against Zombies, since they can only be broueght down with headshots.

Ok fine, all I'll say about the wakizashi is that yes, it will survive a few decapitations(having not actually seen yours, I don't know how sharp it is, I'm still not confident in mine), and that could be the difference between life and death. As long as you carry enough ammo for everything else, you'll be fine. Good choice with G21 and Ak by the way.

Grenade Launchers can be useful, for distractions at distances, blowing down walls, etc. They can also be useful against large groups of looters. And I doubt it's that heavy. AMmo probably is though.
