About Me: Callsign: JPtank Location: Toronto, Ontario. Age: 18 JP = my initials. Tank = nickname. At work they call me tank (sometimes hammer) because i'm the youngest in the warehouse and I tank through everything, being a fast worker for my age. My zombie fixation started when I was young, I think it was Dawn of the Dead that I saw and I wondered what it would actually be like. Then I considered how well I would do if some outbreak really did happen. (after watching 28 days later). Better safe than sorry, I started to prepare. Favorite Zombie movie: thats a tough one, I liked Fido, but I'm more into movies that get you thinking. So Land of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, yea, lots of the deads... Favorite quote:(Zombie movie) "I promise you that whatever you've got waiting for you in Columbus will be no better than our friend here enjoyin' er... manwich". (not so much a zombie movie). "you kill half, i'll kill half.... ... alright, i'll kill them all." - Scorpion King. Favorite Zombie Book: Zombie Survival Guide. What I know: I'm an outdoors enthusiast. It started when I was in boy scouts and I took a liking to the outdoors and survival. I practice wilderness survival situations often, and even pull off survivorman scenarios. I know how to start fires, build shealter, find food and find water. I can navigate my way around wilderness areas and I make a damn good pathfinder or tracker. I also have a relative knowledge of local plants: which are poisonus, which are edible. I also do know first aid, but that was from scouts, Highschool and personal inquiry (picking brains). I'm looking to get fully certified in advanced first aid. I know most moarse code. I have basic skills in making circuts, and i'm in the process of learning welding. Not as a trade, just out of the book and practice. I am soon to be going to school for Engineering and Logistics. I'm trying to mish-mash the two together with a whole bunch of trades and other things and see what becomes of it. In addition, i'm looking to defeat mantracker some day soon. I just gotta talk my older brother into going with. Since I was young I had a huge liking for medieval warfare, especially weapons and armor. I can properly use hand weapons (machette, crowbar, axe, hammer, sword, spear, and bow), and can handle myself in close quarters. Hop Ki doh, Kick Boxing, Jujitsu, Some Karate. I have a knowledge of battle tactics and strategy and have practiced and studdied since I was 9 going on 10. The internet is a wonderful place. I practiced my knowledge of tactics and strategy mostly in my paintball days as I have played for 4 years. I have been to different tournaments, have reffed games and was the captain of my own team for almost a solid year. I have very limited experience with actuall firearms - i've been hunting and have been to ranges. my plan: I'll need atleast a day to get things sorted out around where I live first. I plan to go to Centennial Park, in my area. its Neutral ground, lots of open space, theres a strategic hill which allows me to observe the area and plan, whilst keeping relative distance between me and whatever is going on. At the foot of the hill is a ski chalet and an indoor ice rink - both easy to fortify and would not attract great amounts of attention. Supplies are not far. I need to evacuate myself from the city I live in. its a suburban neighborhood and any direction (west, north, East) ive gotta go through suburbs. My house is right accross a busy street from a Grocery/ drugstore and a whole plaza, for that matter. There is an apartment complex also accross the street, and i am at a major intersection. yup, i'd have to haul it. After being there, I will proceed North West and follow allong the outskirts of major towns. My first RVE location will be: Living Springs, Ontario. Lat - 43.753033 Long - 80.407526 **meeting place will be at the crossroads. Intersection - Sideroad 15 and Line 1 (farm area).***** My Second RVE will be: Wisemans Corners, Ontario. Lat - 45.6074 Long - 79.4528 *** there is an intersection or crossing at route 520 and Midlothian Road. There is a small bridge in the immediate vecinity. My group will pass by there.**** Third RVE will be: Quetico Provincial Park. More specifically, Anubis Lake. Latitude - 48.3360 Longitude - 91.2478 ***This is right on the boarder between Minnesota and Ontario. RVE is at Anubis Lake on the south west corner. http://www.satsig.net/maps/lat-long-finder.htm (once in the link, you need to type in Anubis Lake, Ontario in order to get a visual). you see where there is a small pond-like attachment to the lake? Meeting place will be right around there. **** My main direction of travel will be from Living Springs (North, then west over the great lakes Huron and Superior). Bushwacking takes time, but it will help with concealment and stealth, plus I know the land relatively well so i'm not worried about the wilderness survival part. *** Rendevous times will be at exactly 12:00 Noon. Do not JUST approach my group, there are procedures involved. these are: - Use a signal mirror or flashlight to signal ZSDW in morse code. - Leave a message in a visible place. If my group has passed by, I (we) will write you a couple notes. No note, means we haven't been there yet. -Leave your callsign on the message. How many are with you, and where you came from. (important information we should know). - A green X means there is a note, message or clue near by (could be under a rock, for example... you gotta look for it). - Rendevous will be at 12:00 Noon in each location unless otherwise suggested. - Rendevous in the open. Stand down. Select three members to talk with my three members. - No stunts! People from the wiki will be able to identify my group for two reasons: 1 - Morse code will be: "Tank" 2 - we will be under a white flag with a big green X through it. 3 - at night we might use a Green glowstick to signal you. 4 - Green X means we have been or are there. A message will be near by. To signal me, use a mirror. Morse code - ZSDW The over-all goal is to set up a base where other survivors can come live and we can kick some zombie AS$ together. I have a PERFECT place for this. Location will not be disclosed at this point in time. Over radio, set up of this base will be code named "ZANZIBAR". Latitude/ Longitude coordinates will be relayed as well. This will not be for the actual base, but the "bus stop" for the base. My Survival kit - B.O.B. (New Picture and gear list comming soon!). My newest toy :) :) :) This is my new machete. Basically, its a sword/machete/saw combo. its the same issue given to the canadian forces. Grip has a protector and the blade itself has been made for all around use. It IS a machete. but its also been made simmilar to a cavalry sabre, where hacking is not the only option. You can stab, slice and so on. Theres a saw on the back of the blade, making it a pretty nasty blade. Should've seen what I did to a shoe box. Cuts through like butter. BUTTER! My new toy :) Jungle master 10.5 inch blade and 5.5 inch handle. Best knife I ever bought. Its a hunting/ combat knife with serrated teeth on the back end. That part is also a saw. theres a but cap on the end, as a bonus; and is capable of cracking a skull, or atleast a knockout. My Bug Out Bag Current. Digital Camo Canadian army Issue Rucksack. Currently being used by Canadian forces. Its got many compartments and a central one to keep the important gear dry. Its basically waterproof. Very Practical, durable and in my opinion, more comfortable than my previous Bug Out Bag. My Arsenal: Left - Right: My Crowbar - minus hockey tape Hatchet My Combat/ hunting knife My old machete My newest machete. My two machetes: Top = old, bottom = new. Motto: "Don't fire untill you see the whites of their eyes". Happy Hunting!
