Jacqueline,
depending upon the state you reside in, your choices could be all, some or almost none.
In any event, a handgun choice for most novices is the .357 revolver. Why? You can use the weakest .38 special rounds up to the most powerful .357 magnum (not 'maximum')
We can discuss brands/makes later.

Next up is a shotgun. A useful all-purpose Remington 870 pump in 20 ga might suit you depending upon your strength level. A Rem 1100 semi-auto might work better for recoil though.

Rifle: the best bet IMO is the M-1 Carbine due to light weight, light recoil and wouldn't fatigue you if you had to carry it all day. The magazines are easy to load.

A pistol carbine such as Beretta RX4 Storm or a Marlin Camp 9 (if you can find one) can also be a good low weight/recoil choice.

Otherwise, a short barrelled (16") AR-15 would suffice.

Whatever you purchase or acquire will need your full attention to learn and use correctly, safely and accurately. You get back what you put in.
