My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web:When the zombie apocalypse happens, electricity won't be readily available and since radios can run on batteries and can be more portable than a computer, I think I'll go with a radio.
My location: New York State
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?:Um I'm not quite sure, but we'll see when the time comes
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?:Well, I'll stay at home or in my hometown for maybe a week, then I'll begin heading north.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?:I plan on going north, since the cold would freeze any zombie who'd try to follow me. I plan on using either a car or a van, provided that they can give me adequate cover and hopefully I can gas up along the way.
Got anyone I want to take with me?: My closest friend, Nick. He and I have learned about zombies together and we both have a goodlikelihoodof surviving the zombie apocalypse alone or together, but preferable together.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?: If me and my friend stick together, we might decide to be hermits for a while, at least until most of the zombie hype has died down. Then we might go for using bonfires or a HAM radio channel to try and locate other survivors.
How am I planning to get food and water?:I'd raid gas stations, supermarkets, and diners to get my food and I'd use buckets to collect rain water to drink.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?:My weapon of choice would most likely be a metal baseball bat since it's in my room under my bed. I don't need to reload it, but assuming that it will be dented and damaged from killing zombies after a while, I'd probably need to carry knives or other blunt weapons unless I can find a fire-arm and ammunition during my travels.
Got a survival philosophy?:Very basic one: Live off the land, or the land will live off of you.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?:I would be willing because I believe that there is strength in numbers and the more survivors in the group, the greater the chance of survival.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of?:For the location, yes. I had attended a zombie seminar last year and the zombologist who was speaking said that "in colder climates, the bodily fluids within a zombie would freeze up, rendering them motionless until thawed. This would give the survivor enough time, up to at least a few months, to get the hell out of there."
