It is still under major construction, but I would like to hear some feedback on what is up so far. I will be adding more as I go, but I would like some people to start punching some holes in it. What do you like? What do you want more info on?

Well, I think your timeline is useful to put into context but I think that what you have for the '6 hr' block should be in the first 1-2 hours.
What about gathering up some compadres?

as for the palisades: why wait a long time to start construction? you will need gas/oil supply to use chainsaw plus some extra help carrying and placing the logs.
A trench system will be an easy way to also fortify.
In the meantime, maybe build up a network and then implement plan

I agree 100% I wish I could move that 6 hr block to 1-2 hrs, but at this time I am pessimistic about time frame. Maybe after some timed drills I will feel better and move it to 1-2 hours. I would hope it could be done in that time though, and really if my adrenaline was going of it actually happening it would probably be done in 1 hour.
Compadres.... well I have not even lived in KY for one year yet, so compadres are a minimal. If nothing else I don't want to account for someone who ends up not being there. I know I will be here, and I know what I can accomplish.
As far as the gas/oil supply for the chainsaw. I typically will carry enough fuel stabilizer for that time frame. Planning on not going anywhere means that any fuel I have can be put toward chainsaw for the palisades. It is all about the rationing.

a little bit of planning can go a long way toward cutting down time

Practice also helps and thinking things through, testing it then revising if needed will be your best friends until you get some human ones

Yeah actually two of my best friends moved to Kentucky from Utah. So that will be added into my plans as well.
