Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?
I have conjured up several different plans for varying situations. Most however do involve the imminent threat of zombies in my home town.
Aaaaand most of my plans involve my 12 gauge along with a handful of local marines that I keep in touch with.

Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?
Me and my Marines (along with my father and law who is a 20 year SWAT vet) have set up a designated location at a fairly new grocery store that we have all scoped out for entrances and exits. I don't quite have a full arsenal at my home (however I have a few hundred rounds of 00 Buck shot for my Remington Wingmaster, a few hundred rounds of 5.56 for my AR15, and about 200 rounds for my 1911.


If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?
I always try to keep my car above 1/2 a tank just in case. We would meet up at this location and seal off the entrances once we have taken the structure.



Got anyone I want to take with me?
Just my Mom and my Wife (who aren't the kind of stupid ******* you see on all the zombie movies) because they know their way around a shotgun.

How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit
route? We have planned to go the "hermit" route because with a smaller group there is more chance for long term survival (due to the shortage of food and water) and we plan to wait and see what kind of zombies we are dealing with. We need to know if they can starve to death, decompose, live off change, we don't know.

How am I planning to get food and water?
Well like I said earlier we're gonna take over the grocery store and seal the entrances.

What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Like I said before I have my Wingmaster with 00 buck shot. But if we were ever overwhelmed I have my AR which has two 30 round magazines to go along with it. I would bring my entire stash of ammunition with me along with me and put it with my groups stash (which is far more extensive than mine) and I believe that a few thousand rounds between such an experienced group would suffice

Got a survival philosophy? One shot...One kill...seriously have you seen the Land of the Dead...when the "Army" chick shoots at the lone zombie that's getting fried on the electric fence...she empties a whole #*(%#$ magazine on him.

Conserve as much as you can and stay alive

And trust me...having worked for the government in the past...if there is ever an unknown virus causing homicidal tendencies on mass groups of the population...I wouldn't hold your breath for localized evacuation.

We would all be on our own out there so keep your heads up and remember...there are others out there like us who will survive.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?
That depends on how large the group is and what they will bring to the table. If we have the resources to help then we will but I'm not going to have a group of 100 people swarm our lifeboat and sink us.
