Welcome to our site!1

About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies:
I don't even remember. I played a lot of zombies games online, and have always contemplated a doomsday plan, so those two together may have led to it.
What started my zombie fixation:
A few online games too late at night. I planed a movie, and in looking for ideas for survival techniques, found this site. You guys led me to this!
Favorite zombie book:
Wait, you think I really read books? My attention span barely even lets me read plans from other users!
Favorite zombie movie:
Not really zombies, but 'I am Legend' was a great doomsday movie, and those creatures remind me of zombies, only stronger, smarter, and faster. Coincidentally, i know somebody actually named Legend.
Favorite quote in any zombie movie:
"I KICK ASS FOR THE LORD" -Father McGruder/Braindead. never actually saw the movie, but i saw the clip of this quote on youtube while looking for my own ideas.

My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web:
Murch or a variation of Murch.
My location: California
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?
My plan begins whenever I get news of anything zombielike, anywhere in the world.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?
Home hopefully, we have a plan to barricade our neighborhood. Just in case, i'm coming up with vehicle hacks all the time, some cheap and fast, some expensive and destructive.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?
Hopefully the Ford Superduty 2011 mod I'm designing. If not, we have 2 cars, one built for off road, one not.
Got anyone I want to take with me? My family, a few friends, and my dog, for sure. The mod should allow for 10-20 people. The two cars together hold 12 people in seats+ seat belts, and can likely hold a few more in the trunk.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?
Our neighborhood practically has its own power grid. All the houses have the ability to store and share energy, and with our large amounts of solar panels and backup generators, we'll likely be contacting as many survivors as possible.
How am I planning to get food and water?
Farming, hunting, that kind of stuff.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?
Berreta M4 semiauto shotgun. My dad stocked up on about 10000+ rounds for our firearms, mainly because of a possible ammo law that he heard about, so that plus whatever our neighbors have should last us for most of the outbreak.
Got a survival philosophy?
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?
Yeah, but we'll check for bites if they try to enter.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of?
The entire "hear about it early" thing was inspired by 2012, when the main character found out about the end of the world, but other than that, this is my own idea.
