When I started thinking way too much about zombies: Since I first viewed Night Of The Living Dead in 1972. What started my zombie fixation: George Romero Favorite zombie book: The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead Favorite zombie movie: I Am Legend Favorite quote in any zombie movie: One day you're out on your boat and you get attacked by zombie fish, they munch at your face, like you're the main course at an all you can eat crazy country boy buffet. My Survival Plan: My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or the Internet: kiyotei @ (kiyotei.com) My location: Temecula, CA Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Both. We really don't know where we will be on Z-Day... right? Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Heading to the desert or anywhere there is a small population. The infected will naturally gravitate to crowded areas in order to feast. If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? In a vehicle (or vehicles) over the mountain towards Joshua Tree and north to the Four Corners region of Southern Utah. Got anyone I want to take with me? Oh yeah.. as many family members and friends (who are uninfected) as we can get together in time. How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Via Emergency Radio and any other existing communications. How am I planning to get food and water? Already have caches hidden in-route and marked by GPS. What’s my weapon of choice? Shotgun, 45 cal pistol, machettes and explosives (like Tannerite). Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Yep... ammo caches stored in the desert. Got a survival philosophy? To help anyone not bitten and destroy all zombies and all Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) left by decaying zombies. Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Of Course. All people will be welcome but they should bring their own food and water. Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Whatever makes sense and is a proven method of survival. The "Zombie Survival Manual" is the best source of material I have encountered so far.
