About Me: When I started thinking way too much about zombies: When I get free time :| What started my zombie fixation:Probably a zombie game Favorite zombie book:Zombie survival guide... Favorite zombie movie: Sean of the dead Favorite quote in any zombie movie:can't quote one My Survival Plan: My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: LagAvengerMy location:Upland California Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?Depends, I'm not going to run for the hills if a zombie shows up in Africa. Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?Ultimately head to Alaska, nice open wilderness, plenty of wildlife, low population, and the cold has to hinder a zombie's movement If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?Gonna be a long, fun roadtrip, maybe I can try to steal a ship from the LA docks.... that'd be fun I just thought about a possible answer to short term fuel problem. Since I do plan on heading to Alaska. Try to get ahold of a military fuel bladder (best case scenario). If not, hopefully a waterbed won't get eaten through too terribly fast by fuel. Put one or 2 of those in my truckbed. load up on some epoxy and seal my truck bed just in case. and seal a nice piece of plywood over the top... shouldn't be too hard to find enough fuel early on to fill it Got anyone I want to take with me?Anyone of my friends or family crazy enough to listen to me How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? If I have access to electricity, or a crank radio (I don't own one) I'll listen to what's going on everywhere else. How am I planning to get food and water?Live off the land What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?I currently own an M91/30 Mosin-Nagant, a Ruger 10/22, and a Mauser Gew 98. 880 rounds for the Mosin, 1000 rounds for the 22, and 340 rounds for the Mauser. The Mosin has a bayonet in case things get hairy. Hopefully I don't burn through ammo too terribly fast... but I don't mind killing crazies and rioters to take their stuff. I am also in the process of building an AR-15, but I don't plan on that being a primary, due the the ammunition consumption. If at all possible, I like to keep my enemies at a long range with one of the bolt-action rifles Got a survival philosophy? It's not really about surviving... seriously, life has to be boring after losing most if not all my friends and family... I'd rather just stick around a while to thin out the herd... but sticking around in the suburbs of LA is just suicide. I figure Alaska has to be like starting out on easy... only a few zombies to kill Am I willing to hook up with other survivors?Depends, for short term survival, yes. But more people means more mouths to feed, more possible zombies, more ammunition wasted, and more people not to trust Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of?I believe its all original
