Plan:
Since I live in the secluded state of Alaska and if there happens to be a world wide epidemic, my first step would be to try and communicate with my friends who also have their own zombie escape plan and then those who have no plan so that I atleast have some helping hands. Second I would gather my Z-day kit and all the guns in the house with all the ammo available. Then meet up with anyone who may have communicated with me and plan further with them, if however don't talk with them I'll head over to Sportsman's Warehouse where a very large stock of guns and ammo are. If not Sportsman's then I'll try and get into the ma and pa gun shops. After stock piling on weapons and ammo somehow, water is my next concern after filling up my bathtub with water and all of my water containers i'll have to focus on food. There is a gas station not too far from my house where i could get junk food, some microwaveable foods, as well as drinks, and nonperishable. On top of that the gas station has lots of tobacco products which i can use as bribes and/or currency between some people. After a couple of weeks in my basement I imagine that most of the people will either have left the area or have died and turned making "shopping" an easier chore as well allowing me to collect supplies with as little hassle as possible. I can then go to the police station and see if there's any riot gear, any other weapons I can use, or body armor protecting me from raiders or that i can use as bartering items; it' s also come to my attention that communication would be necessary so i'll be looking for radios and other transmitters. When my resources are exhausted i'll go to the "big" city and look around there and find a small house or shop worth commandeering. Rinse and repeat.
