About Me: What started my zombie fixation:Watching the original Night of the Living Dead when I was younger. Favorite zombie book: How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse,The Zombie Combat Manual,The Zombie Survial Guide, Favorite zombie movie:Zombieland, 28 Days Later, The Walking Dead. Favorite quote in any zombie movie: "Ever see a lion limber up before it takes down a gazelle?" My Survival Plan: My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web:Muther is what the guys on our mil-sim team call me since I usually am the on who organizes all of our days and logistics. The joke being that I am like having a team "mom" since i always have the spare parts, food, water and other supplies. Hence the handle "Muther". I have an offical Fire/Rescue title but, that will be for the day that the SHTF for real. My location:Somewhere in Amish Country Pennsylvania. Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? It depends on the circumstances. I have plans for both scenarios. If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? My Jeep is my primary means of travel. I also have an adventure touring motorcycle. Which doesn't offer much in the way of protection but, would be good for scouting. I also have a boat that is a possible means of escape. In a perfect world, this would be my choice for Zday transportation. With a few modifications of course Got anyone I want to takewith me? My family and my girlfriend are my first prioity as far as people to move or protect. I also have a very close core of like minded and equipped friends who would be contacted and arrangments made to meet. How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? CB radios would probably be the most common means of communication. I wouldn't rely or count on cell phones or the internet for too much if it really goes bad. How am I planning to get food and water? I have suppies stocked and ready for both in home defense and in case of having to go mobile. What’s my weapon of choice? My Bushmaster XM-15 is my primary combat weapon of choice. I also have a Winchester 1300 defender for CQB and whatever it would be needed for. I also carry a sidearm almost everywhere I go since my state allows CWC. It is usually my Glock 30 which is .45 ACP. I also have several more handguns and a collection of various hunting rifles and shotguns. I keep a stock of several hundered to several thousand rounds of ammo for all of my weapons, depending on the caliber and intended use. I also have a good collection of hunting and combat style knifes. If I had to choose one weapon for melee though, it would be either a 6 or 8lb fire axe or splitting maul.
