Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?: Anywhere and Everywhere.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?: I'll attempt to Bug in but only for enough time to pass so that rioting has slowed/ stopped and I can move safely to a more rural, sheltered area as my current position is a highly populated town. although i am close enough to rural farmland (45-60) minutes fast walk with pack to a better temporary location. and 2-3 hours (depending who I'm with) from several excellent vantage points.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? : The good and reliable shoelace express.
Got anyone I want to take with me? : My Fiance, My father and my youngest sister are my primary objectives as they are either close or on the direct routes to my first temporary bug out location. my father also has a concrete shed which, though small could comfortably hold 4, more than enough lumber and other materials for defensive lock in and enough blunt/ sharp melee weapons for small attacks (anywhere from 1-10 walkers should be more than controllable otherwise there's a large maze like system of brick walls and metal gates to escape through in emergency parralell to his Garden)
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? : Via CB Radio or similar but Hermit generally not giving my position but rather a rondevous point i can easily monitor but is far away enough to be safe in the eventuality that hostiles arrive to take my position for themselves
How am I planning to get food and water?: Small stockpiles of rations and water purification tablets primarily i also intend to take a small supply of butane (1.2lb total approximately)
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? : bow preferably, well weighted machette and hatchet. also wish to keep several long screwdrivers on a belt for emergency close quarters, up through base of mouth and through the roof straight to the spinal collumn not to be retrieved.
Got a survival philosophy? : stay alert don't get too attached dont try to keep loved ones that are infected incase of a cure.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? : possibly
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of?:No. but i am willing to share the thoughts and logic behind my overall plans.
