What started my zombie fixation: Movies and L4D

My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: Most prolly this website or the news.
My location: Penang, Malaysia. A few feet away from a primary school that has saws and other sharp weapons that could slice zombies' head off with ease. And not far away, there's some sort of military base. Not sure though. I'm sure it has guns.
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Just hometown. Where else could I possibly go? Even the mil. base ain't covered.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Most prolly somewhere else, but my house would be a good place to hide because of the steel bars. But it depends on the type of Z's, shamblers or runners like those from L4D?
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Dad's carS. A Jeep, Estima, and a SUV.
Got anyone I want to take with me? Family and kittens. But then again, my kittens would prolly run away by then. Better off if their dead anyways, but I'll surely miss em'.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I will....consult my father..... when...... I can! But internet is a must.
How am I planning to get food and water? Lol, 711 is everywhere here.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? I have no guns because Malaysia bans residents from owning a gun (Don't ask why). I do have knives, shovels, and some really sharp stuff, and as I've stated up there, the primary school near-by has a lot of saws and other sharp weapons.
Got a survival philosophy? Not yet.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Most prolly not, unless my family is gone, then yes. I hate being alone.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Yes.
