Gotta plan for that?weapon a: 12 gauge shotgun (dad may be using it), weapon b: .22 rifle, weapon c: Louisville slugger will update as i get more. currently saving for a good compound bow Got a survival philosophy?save at least 1 bullet/ shell for myself, my friends, or any relative who may be coming with me and is bitten Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? very much so, i would prefer it to going alone Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? song list for z-day another one bites the dust-queen new divide-linkin park gotta be somebody-nickleback ___________________________________________________________________ MY PLAN: any advice or criticism is welcome. when the outbreak happens, i will be waiting with a bow and as many arrows as i can take while i have room for my B.O.B. i have a few signaling devices, and an easily defensible position on the roof of my house, easily accessible from an upstairs window. i will close the window once i am out, and wait with my supplies until either i run out and must find some or if someone finds me, which is the least likely of the two.i have a good knowledge of how to start a fire to cook any food i might find and live near a pond for water. Day 1: barricade all doors downstairs Day 2: barricade all windows other than the one used to get to the roof Day 3: attach a rope to the leg of my bed and hang it out of the window. (this next part is the dangerous part i will be doing over and over) get a bucket and climb down the rope. go to the pond and fill it up. go back to the house. tie the bucket handle to the rope, climb the rope, and then pull the rope up and untie the bucket. go down and get some firewood. bring it back to the house and do the same with the wood as the bucket. leave the rope inside this time, close the window and head downstairs to the fireplace. build a fire and boil and purify the water (will take a lot of time and wood, but is worth it to survive) Day 4: toss the rope back down. put up a sign on the roof saying "survivors welcome here" since zombies can't read, they won't be able to tell. any survivors who come can climb the rope and come inside. they will have to follow my rules, however. main rule: if you don't work, you won't eat. Day 5: under construction . . .
