I am the kind of guy who speaks his mind. If I don't have faith in a plan, leader, structure, vehicle, then I will not keep quiet about it. Keeping quiet about the decision of an obviously stupid leader can and WILL get people killed.

To me plan are GUIDELINES. That is to say I will follow my plan until I find that it no longer applies. Then I think of something else.
