What started my zombie fixation: Resident Evil

My location: Minnesota - The North Country Far

Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? If they're here, they're everywhere...or will be soon.

Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Bugging in initially, assess as things develop.

If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Vehicle if zeds are like RE zeds, if sound directed, bike and trailer.

Got anyone I want to take with me? Yeah, just not sure we can connect. Opposite ends of town.

How will I communicate with the outside world? Dig out the shortwave in the basement and fire it up.

How am I planning to get food and water? Very carefully! Got about 3 months stockpiled plus the pantry. Water is weak, still I have about 50 gallons on hand.

What’s my weapon of choice? 6" Model 28 S&W, SKS and assorted rifles.

Do you need to reload that thing? Unless I'm settled, the SKS will go bye-bye when the ammo runs dry. The Smith I can feed for years, and the components are at least luggable. Lee Loaders are good.

Got a survival philosophy? Yeah, living sucks, unliving sucks all available dirt.

Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Not merely yes, but H*LL, YES. Hopefully with my friends, but...any port in a storm.

Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Not really. It's modified Mel Tappen with mods from "I Am Legend", the BOOK.
