Zombie Action Plan InformationYour Name: Oscar Healey
Your "handle" should we look for you on the radio waves or web: OscarHakr
Your location: Sydney, NSW, Australia
Is your plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Um, sort of. I can't exactly commandeer a hardware store before the uprising for fear of being shot
Will you be staying in your home or headed somewhere else? Staying in Sydney - so near my home
If you're heading out, how do you plan to get there? Car - staying in the city (probably)
Got anyone you want to take with you? Friends, family, family friends, friends family's, anyone who wants to tag along
How will you communicate with the outside world, or do you plan to go the hermit route? Sort of a commune thing, short wave two-way radio
How are you planning to get food and water? Grow food, rainwater and supplies (from shops and if worst comes to worst - distilling seawater through vapourisation)
What's your weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? FN SCAR and a Fubar (No way of getting an FN-SCAR - I just wish there was. My friend is a member of a shotgun club, and some police handguns and maybe a rifle or two might just fall into my hands, I would use a rifle and a handgun)
Got a survival philosophy? If it has no concept of personal space, smash its head in with a crowbar
Are you willing to hook up with other survivors? Sure
Is your plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist we may have heard of? Nope

Strategy: Gather friends and family. Raid the Rose Bay Police Station (for weapons, body armour, radios and general gear [and possibly vehicles]) and Westfeilds Bondi Junction (WBJ for food [Woolworths & Coles], gear [clothing, backpacks, knives, tools {Mountain Designs & Oakley}] and fuel [abandoned cars in car park]).Take over a Bunnings Warehouse. Use the materials found inside to reinforce the building. Sandbags and lumber will be used to fortify load bearing points, and chain link, iron rebar and steel mesh will be used to fortify windows and points of entry. The entrance will be lined with sandbags. At night, only very little light is emitted from the fortress, because all exposed areas are covered with 50% shadecloth. Only one way in, and one way out. There will be a panic room, with emergency equipment. Will make a farm in the garden section, handy because it is covered with 50% shadecloth, which lets light and water in, but it camouflaged and lets less light out. The farm will comprise of corn, tomatoes, wheat, potatoes, small citrus trees, and other herbs & vegetables. Chickens, rabbits and ferrets will be raised for meat and eggs. A school will be created to teach survivors. All outside survivors will be considered to enter, depending on the conditions, but only after a 2 day quarantine period. Sleeping quarters and an armoury will be created. Food will be rationed, and all perishables eaten first. All food that is grown will be stored or eaten. Food will never be stored for more than a month, before being replaced. Will also pillage shops, and commandeer cars. As many vehicles as possible will be taken for scouting, moving and for materials. Nearby petrol stations will be pumped 50% and the fuel stored in Jerry cans in the fortress. Will have a garage with as many vehicles as possible, where they are reinforced. Small vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles will be used for scouting (searching for survivors, resources, pillaging shops and the like). Any bites or wounds inflicted by a zombie will be treated with Hydrogen Peroxide to try to kill the infection. All survivors traveling outside the fortress must travel in pairs or more, and have at least one firearm and/or one melee weapon each.
All Team Members must carry with them at all times when leaving the fortress:
A BOB (with gun at the ready)
A melee weapon of choice
A Leatherman Multitool
Any other equipment as instructed by Team Leader
Uniform: I have no uniform as such, but I do have some clothing guidelines:
Wear thick materials, such as denim and leather
Wear big shoes or boots, never open shoes
When leaving the fortress, have some sort of head and face protection
When leaving the fortress, have some sort of gas mask
When leaving the fortress, ALWAYS carry some sort of weapon
Its Steveo Justice's big list of stuff Oscar needs for Z-Day: -Dangerous black market connections to procure automatic firearms -- I mean semi-auto fir-- I mean Manua--- I mean weapons in Australia; -Genetic mutations that morph him into a lumbering ape-man at will to schlep around 5,000 kg of gear, the proportion of which would give the Incredible Hulk a hard-on; -Leadership skills I defy Barack Obama to show, in order to rally dozens of disdraught families into a preposterous comman heiarchy/bandana fetish; -A veritable fuel convoy to keep juice in his inexplicably armored Hummer H-1 (or, as I call it, "Legless Cow"); -Impecable aim to score guarenteed headshots on the hordes of undead which will be drawn to said cow-mobile using his pussy 9mm rounds; -Dr. Who's sonic screwdriver to magically un-jam his FN-SCAR each time it jams (frequently); -A 2-mile roll of duct tape to attatch a dozen useless accessories onto the gun (such as putting a flash suppressor on on top of the silencer, lulz); -A grenade launcher? A bayonette? A CASE DEFLECTOR? WHY!?!?!? -SAS training to accompany your SAS handbook; -Both bubble gum and "very useful" chewing gum; -Several years and a massive, well-equiped construction crew to erect his fortress.
By the way, a crowbar and a pipe wrench can do all the jobs of your "forced entry tool," just they make far better weapons. The whole thing is actually kind of redundant, you have at least 3 ways to do each job. Man... I don't like slamming people, but that's all sort of preposterous, especially if you take up issue with a the crowbar. NO ONE messes with the crowbar.

Do you find this valuable?
Hey mate, with the bug out bag, id say go with the first one... its going to be very hard if the second back is full to capacity 55L, which is 55kg to run around and to do stuff with... though the first one sorta might limit you to what you want to take, which is in fact a good thing.

Hmm... Thanks for the contributions guys. Maybe both is a good idea - you know - Keep the large one in my main vehicle or somethings. I will keep both your ideas in mind. Cheers,
