Hey, I think you're super!2

About Me:
When I started thinking way too much about zombies: Freshman year at the university.
What started my zombie fixation: Movies, friends, online chats.
Favorite zombie book: N/A
Favorite zombie movie: "Zombieland
Favorite quote in any zombie movie:

My Survival Plan:
My “handle” should you look for you on the radio waves or web: Chances are I'll be too busy for that.
My location: Kentucky- Louisville area
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?
It is dependent on my hometown. Low population, and what I'm most familiar with.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? I will more than likely be trying to get home. After that I'll stay put.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? If I can act early enough, I'd try the highways. If they are blocked I would take backroads for as long as I can, anything to not be stuck in one place without a shelter.
Got anyone I want to take with me? My closest friends and family are the most open option, if they are still alive. The location of my BOL is fairly large and open for settlement afterward, so as long as people behave and follow the rules of the house, they can stay also.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? At this moment I do not have a radio, but am looking into buying one soon. Methods such as signs and signals will also be utilized to those that are traveling on roads nearby.
How am I planning to get food and water? Rainwater collection is a good method. I also favor retrieving groundwater if I can have enough time in one place, followed by a distillation method if supplies can be gathered. If not, boiling and/or filtering will do.
I plan to buy enough non-perishable food to last 5 years or so, well after the Panic and the chaos is over. This would be followed by a reliance on hunting and gardening, if time permits.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? I keep a 6-iron named Daisy next to my bed. That's for if I wake up, my roommate is a zombie and I'm not dead for some reason. I'm very partial to a nice, semi-automatic rifle like an AR-15. This would probably be kept close at all times of the day. My BOL already has a few hunting quality guns ready with ammunition.
Got a survival philosophy? Zombies won't be the worst things out there. Over years live human beings have proved to be made of worst material than their dead or living dead counterparts. I know what a zombie wants, but humans are another story.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? As long as they follow the rules of the house.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? Not that I know of. I don't get into a lot of the fiction made from the idea of zombies. Plus, I believe countless teenagers and young adults would die on Z-day because they figured zombies would be precisely as Hollywood depicted them.
