What started my zombie fixation: I saw George Romero's 1973 classic Dawn of the Dead, thought it over, and realized it wasn't impossible. After that, it was always in the back of my mind and, of course, my fear was revamped in '04 when Zack Snyder redid the classic and this time the zombies could run. As silly as the idea of runners is, there's something terrifying in the idea of a dead body, let alone a cannibalistic dead body, being able to outrun a Kenyan runner.
Favorite zombie book: I gotta say Max Brooks' World War Z, it was pretty well done. And I'll admit, Christina Eliopolis' little story got my heart pumping.
Favorite zombie movie: Night of the Living Dead. But I got that soft spot for Zombi 2, c'mon that shark fight? You tell me one person who can say no to that.
Favorite quote in any zombie movie: "Zombies man... they creep me out."

Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? I have plans for both situations.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Home, depending on the class, of course.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? Boat. I live five minutes from the beach, got a boat on the side of my house.
Got anyone I want to take with me? Aside from my cop and military in training buds? My mom.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? Hermit until communication is necessary, in which case I've got communication radios.
How am I planning to get food and water? Garden, cisterns, canned food and garbage cans full of water.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? Depends on a few things, we going for long range primary weapon? In my dreams AR-15/AR-10 but in real life, an SKS. I wouldn't be using no primary weapon that needs reloading in close combat, so primary is gonna be a hand hatchet or my custom machete, secondary, some type of shotgun, still looking into types. And I'm learning how to rock out on a cross bow.
Got a survival philosophy? Yea, don't get eaten. And if you're trapped, board yourself up and point that gun somewhere usefully destructive.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Hell yea.
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? It's a nice combination of all things good and ghouley.
