Zombie Armour...
Mar 16 2008, 10:21 AM EDT Alright so because of my recent uh.. fear of an out break I've done a bit of research and figured out the best armor for "zombie hunters". Its a bit pricy, but in the event that there ever is a plague you will be safe and be able to fight packs. In order of importance from most important to least important, this armor consist of the following. 1#Chain mail Coif - 50$ Its is light weight and cannot be broken threw biting.2# Breast plate - 235$ For that price you can find a simple metal breast plate, a chain mail shirt could also be used and could be 50 to 75 dollars cheaper. 3#Chain mail gauntlets/gloves - 75$ for a good pair, chain mail isn't necessary but it is my first choice because they are tough. 4# Plate Pauldrens - 52$ These protect your shoulders and well neck and shoulders seem to easy access for a bite. 5# Bracers - 37$ These will protect your wrist and forearm depending on the size you get. 6# Greaves - 45$ These will protect ankles and lower leg. Total of all these things comes to 494. If you want a bit extra protection go for a cheap Helm average around 102$ A Gamberson (think long cloth vest) 82$ a Chain mail shirt 200$. that will bring your total about up to 750 dollars. But that would be for extreme zombie condition.. Keep in mind you will need a melee weapon!!! Remember most of this armor also comes as leather such as greaves, gauntlets, pauldrens, gloves, bracers, helm and breast plate. Its all protected solders for centuries I'm sure its durable enough to stand up to unarmed plagued humans. There are a few more things to add to the list of necessary attire for a zombie attack for questions on what and where to get good gear contact me I will be checking my emails at least twice a day!!! Pastor - "A shepherd must tend his flock. And at times... fight off the wolves." Do you find this valuable? |
