You seem like an angry young man. Might I suggest a few deep breaths, maybe a juice box and a nap, or a slow walk around the block at sunset?

If you bothered to do some research on me before you posted, you might have noticed that I have 4,000+ contributions to the site, I'm a Moderator, and I (amongst many others) actually ban trolls from the site.

If you believe my writing to be angry, mocking, smug or arrogant, then I think that is because you are all these things. I take care to try and write in a neutral tone as often as possible. You can't hear the inflection of my voice when you read this, so you can't tell the mood I am in when I write it. All you have are the words.

So next time you read something and get offended, stop, calm down, and imagine the same sentence being read by an old English professor as though it were a mildly amusing short story. If the words lose all their venom, then maybe were never meant to have any. If on the other hand it sounds like a threat made by a Bond villain, you might have legitimate cause to get all riled up.

And FYI, if you haven't read the "pokecrazy" thread that you quoted, maybe you should. Then read his contributions and try and work out why he got so angry.

Yes. I saw that you were a moderator and a fierce contributor.
I was pretty quick to post a jerkish reply because I am used to a high amount of trolls, and know-it-alls who constantly put people down without contemplating the issue, so I apologize for that. I spent a long time away from the forums for the specific reason that most of my posts were hounded by people like that, and I came back with the assumption that this would be the case, still.

So, i'll apologize. However, let it be known that I didn't get angry or "riled up". That's not my way. I more "poked fun" at you, and acted like a jackass... which kinda makes things worse I suppose.

Either way, my bad.

Oh, and let it be known and I don't care who it is... if they are trolling a post of mine, being a jerk, cursing, not abiding by the rules... moderator or not, I have no qualms about telling them so.

Perhaps you could call that a character flaw, but I had assumed that you were simply trolling, and made sure to say something about it. However, since this is not the case, as I said, my bad, and I'm teh sorryz. : P

Wow... Damn Pedro, looks like you've got one hell of a cult following.

Guys, I can personally attest that Pedro is not a troll. He's has consistently been one of our most valuable site members and an excellent site moderator. If you have a problem with any staff member, the CORRECT course of action is to notify an Administrator of your concern, not harass the moderator on a thread in his profile. That's both "chickensh!t" and immature, and isn't going to win you any popularity contests.

BTW - Pedro is an excellent moderator and is being more than fair with you Jackal. I'd thank him for being so kind and not immediately banning you for harassing him. Let me remind you that your thread here has violated several different articles on the ZSDW CoC and could've landed you a considerable stay in the Vacation Home. I'd appreciate his kindness if I were you.

And to the OP, I have said before that pretty much all of my threads should be read in the voice of Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I rarely do angry. Exasperated and perplexed is about the highest I go.

Trolling is by definition starting an argument with the sole reason to annoy and enrage. If I'm starting an argument, it's either by accident, or because I think it will lead to a productive discussion.

And yes, I do talk like this. :)

Pedro in no way is a troll, When I read his posts I imagine him using sarcasm very (A very good trait I must say) not in a malicious way, In a funny way.
