I'm not trying to flame or anything, but is there a need for locking threads based on bumps? I mean, in a part of the site where there's up to four threads total, why does a necrobump matter? No disrespect, but I just don't get it.
Do you find this valuable?

Ah. Just found this, but I will explain as best I can.

Necrothreads are old. Most of the contributors are likely inactive. Maybe the information on there is out of date. Most are dozens, maybe hundreds of posts long. Few people will read all that in order to reply coherently.

If you want to speak on a topic in a necrothread, you are better writing a more current, complete, comprehensive post in a new thread. It eliminates confusion.
