What started my zombie fixation:"I am Legend", "Left 4 Dead", I've always been interested in apocalypses, watching documentaries on them on the History Channel. I watched I am Legend for the first time and I searched on google about apocalypses based on viruses, there was a thread here like that, and I came to the site, hooked ever since.

My location:East Coast
Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?No, my plan will likely remain the same if the infection is in my home town or anywhere else. Unless of course my location becomes compromised, then part C of my plan will kick in.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else?I will be heading to a series of places within 50 miles of my current location, alternating every couple weeks.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there?Via small convoy (3-4 loaded vehicles), or on bike or foot if the vehicles become immobile, or traffic is too great.
Got anyone I want to take with me?Yes, there are predetermined volunteers, as well as my family.
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route?I am planning on buying 2 hand crank, CB radios, maybe 3 if I get the chance.
How am I planning to get food and water?Water from a nearby lake (purifying it), canned and non perishable food items, wild game, until my harvest is ready, then we eat and ration off the land.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?S&W .22 LR rifle, ammo stock piling from a nearby store.
