My Zombie Plan

My local high school was built as a bomb shelter so it has very few windows. I live on a peninsula so the zeds have very few ways to get into the county so during the period of the initial invasion my team of survivalists (Eagle Scouts, veterans, and gun enthusiasts), will divide into pre-determined groups to perform the following tasks:

- Building defenses using supplies acquired from local stores
- Looting wholesale stores, grocery stores, gun stores, automotive stores, car dealerships, etc
- Collecting professionals in the fields of : Dentistry, Medical, machining, gun smithing, agriculture, etc.

Then we dehydrate all the fresh food store all the canned and frozen food in the cafeteria, (most of the tables will be used for reinforcement and bunks) water reservoirs will be created on the roof. Other rooms will be devoted to various storage needs such as small arms.

Pets will be kept, I know of a farm that raises goats and cows, we will let civvies raise them as pets, drink their milk, make cheese, and eventually meat and leather (possibly for leather armor against bites). I would like to get some sheep for wool, but I'll have to look into that. Dogs, cats, rabbits, and will be kept as so far as their owners supply the food and then they'll also be used for meat.

Everyone will be assigned tasks beneficial to the group, Candle making, bee keeping, weaving, wood chopping, farming, watchmen, etc.

My bug out plan is pretty rudimentary, convoy North, that's about it. I have some gear and a nice framed hiking backpack. I'm not running unless absolutely forced. I have enough rounds to kill every zed in the district between my Mosin, and my .22's. So, I'll go down swinging in my backyard before running.
