1. RE: Responding on the behalf

Well being in the military has its pro's and con's...Pro's 1. Trained and equipped with firearms. (Bonus since I live in UK) 2. Deployed with trained soldiers and not rookie civies. 3. Live on "secure" (and I use the term very loosely) grounds. 4. Access to body armour and CBRN or "NBC" equipment. However there are some serious con's for instance... 1. I don't make the descions - If they want me to go to a "walmart" or bang in the middle of the city I have no choice. 2. Obliged to serve - My army ID card might spare my life at a military check point but its very likely I'll be pressed into service - hence ruining my survival plan. 3. Cannon Fodder - In such a time we'll we'd probably be seen as expendable cannon fodder and could easily be abandoned by the military should I loose communications. 4. Mutiny - There is always a risk of this but who do I side with? Do I follow orders not suited to the Z-Wars or do I desert my post? Morals and values dilema. There are probably more but that's all I have atm. Btw I appreciate this thread is ancient but I have only just noticed it at the bottom of my Profile Page :@ |

I may be mistaken but the rifle you are pictured with on your profile is labelled as a L98, is this not a cadet rifle? Why are you using one on a military excercise or is it an old picture from when you were a cadet?

"I may be mistaken but the rifle you are pictured with on your profile is labelled as a L98, is this not a cadet rifle? Why are you using one on a military excercise or is it an old picture from when you were a cadet?"That was when I was still in Cadets, taking place at the school where we did cadets where we were out and about on a school opening day basically showing everyone we did exist (our detachment has always numbered around 15). Nowadays they use the A2 version, identical to ones the army use except there is no change lever, so it is fixed on semi automatic. |
