How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I would put effort into staying in the loop.

Got a survival philosophy? Vae Victus
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? For sure, as long as they're not a bunch of Mall Ninja's.

This is my EDC. I keep it in my vehicle. This is urban themed because I live deep in miles of urban sprawl. I don't want anything too tacti-cool and no camo or military colors. Small form factor makes it good for vehicles and moving around in tight areas.







Pants: 5.11 Taclite Pro Pants
The ubiquitous 511's in tundra.




Boots: Garmont Flash III GTX Boots
I like the trailsport utility class of boots. They are kind of hybrid trail runner and hiking boot. I like their light weight and ankle support, without being too bulking. I'm not humpin 30lb+ loads in an urban enviroment.

An awesome light weight, low profile, unassuming belt.

Weapon: Mossberg 590 Intimidator 12gauge Shotgun
I love the versatility, relability, simplicity, and availability of a shotgun. The variety of shot shells if very important. I use 3" 00 and tri ball loads for buckshot and 3" rifled slugs. The slugs have great range compared to buck and will put just about anything on its ass. I would love to get my hands on some Dragon Breath loads, those would be great for setting Z's on fire.

20" Barrel, 9 Shot Capacity, Ghost Ring sights, 6 rd Side Saddle, 6 rd Buttstock Shell Holder, Bayonet lug, Specter Sling, Command Arms triple rail forend, Command Arms picatinny flashlight mount, and Blackhawk sling.

My sidearm and backup weapon chambered in .45, so plenty of stopping power.
